Random sort on Excel

Let’s say you want to sort randomly a list of entries contained in Column A. In Column B be you paste:

=RAND()

And then you press Enter. It will change into a number. Then you drag it down all the way to the bottom and more random numbers are generated.

Finally, you sort on column B, and lo and behold, the entries in column A have been sorted on a random basis.
